Method 1 worked for me. Right now, I have connection to the internet! Turn off password protected sharing. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turns out a few of the digits were 'deleted' somehow when I unplugged the wall jack and so the security wasn't allowing me onto the internet. If anyone can help I would be grateful. Thank you again.
