I also tried Micrtosoft's Support but, of course, unsuccessful. are there anyone who know how to fix this or just disabling this feature? For some reason, WMP's failure to open reminded me of the delay that occurs when trying to open a new program or install something and the security feature pops up asking you to bigalmassive 13.270 görüntüleme 5:01 Windows 7 Media Center - Süre: 4:02. repeat and type regsvr32 vbscript.dll and then press enter.3. Disable the User Account Control feature. type exit and press enter.Your error with WMP 11 should now be fixed. It worked perfectly for me! However, it only worked if I tried to run as administrator.

I had to do a system restore and lost some things and that didn't fixed WMP. Those are the clues to what is going on. When I try to run WMP11, all I get is the whirly wheel momentarily and then nothing. I only get the error that the program has to close.

Log off to safe mode and run "SFC /SCANFILE" in an Administrator cmd window again - same results. Please provide a WMP 11 installer for Vista so I can solve this "Ready" problem that I have with streaming live media. Login to the new user account and this should fix the issue if already you found no issues while loging in as Guest.  Monday, August 27, 2007 2:13 AM Reply | Quote 0 I really dont want to re-install vista if I dont have to but it may come down to that.
