Many thanks for solving a huge issue and in the end it was easy and very straightforward ! Given that there won't be patches for Vista in the very near future, I would really recommend upgrading to a newer version of Windows as soon as possible. Make sure you have set your Window clock & date set properly and then try to turn you Windows Defender back on and see if it works fine. Please help me.
