Only Boots On 2nd Try


Count yourself lucky that you didn't damage the board!As far as I've heard general consensus is that low voltage electronics is mostly fine after shorts. Because if the PSU is misbehaving, you'd hate to put the other components at risk. Windows 10 Doesn't Boot First Time

I had the exact same problem and this fixed it.Again, THANKS A LOT!!!! What on the motherboard side of things should I look for? If the BIOS update and reseating the connections didn't help, then it could be a sign of a faulty PSU. It actually even froze in DOS after rebooting from a USB hard drive to flash my bios (not during flash thankfully).
