Thank you so much for posting this!I wasn't actually able to access the sfc/sccannow until i was in safe mode. it helps me a lot in fixing my computer problems. We use AVG 7.5 as our virus scanner, but it hasn't found any viruses thus far on the machine in question.If it would kick out an error, then I could figure Click OK and you should be good to go.

You might want to keep that checked just in case. I cant do anything in my pc...plz suggest me. Now we'll see. Windows explorer works better than ever before.I wish all good luck on fixing the problem because it was sure a headache. The program will then run elevated at startup without getting a UAC prompt. running through the steps to resolve issue on a brand new Dell Vostro 3500 with 7 professional.
