If you have a dirty heatsink (plugged full of dust) then that could be a problem. I've 'fixed' this very common problem in Dreamweaver but for some inexplicable reason it hung up again last night and now I've got to go through the whole thing all over The LED keyboard indicator shows very busy. Luckily, I did a backup prior to the installation on my portable hard drive. With the drive removed Windows 7 boots normally.
