Computer Turns Off After A Few Minutes

I have also run stress tests on it and it and I cant get the temperature to go above 68 degrees Celsius even after an hour at 100% CPU usage. I had windows 8.1 with no problems, but ever since upgrading to Windows 10, the computer will go to sleep after 2 minutes. All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries. CPU jumps from 80 degrees C to 115 then cuts out.

  1. I'm grasping at straws because as far as I know there just aren't that many different places to set that type of option.
  2. I built a computer with what would probably be considered gaming components but I use it for trading.
  3. BUT, consider that the part [especially if it's a regulator] might be getting hot because something else is drawing excessive current.

  5. If it's under warranty take it back and they should have a look at it.

Just bought it last January 2016. Will have to contact asus tomorrow to see if they will exchange it. but their website says their liquid coolers are meant for socket 1156 with 1366 support being optional (that's what your CPU is, i believe).
