where can i get a free domain name with free hosting?

I have been looking for free web hosting sites that also give you a domain name for free. i just dont know which one is reliable and trustworthy, so if anyone out there can give my some good recommendation sites, i would really appreciate it, oh and if its not a bother i would really like it if you have a website with the website that is hosting you. thanks to all who answer my question, ive been tempted to get my on site, thanks!!
You could use Webs, also known as Freewebs.

You have two options for the name of your site.
1. freewebs.com/yoursitehere
or
2. yoursite.webs.com
It is very trustworthy. You can either use an HTML layout that you have, or pick a pre-made one.

BUT as you know since its free, theres gonna be lots of ads and subdomain.
You can get a free subdomain name, but free domain names are like free new cars – there’s no such thing.
