Sound Does Not Work On Startup


Have you tried the manual option for installing a driver? It took about 20 minutes to download, but I now have sound. As described I get no sounds in any combination of shut down choices. You would need to disable that option to fully shutdown your system and then you should get a sound when starting windows, which is not worth it if you ask me. I have wondered why no startup sound is in this registry position and would there be a startup sound if one was added.
