A friend of mine has been helping me with the problem and there is no problem with my hard drives, graphics card, or processor. I play Oblivion with over 100 mods all the best graphic enhancing ones and change ugrids to load to 9 or 11 same with skyrim best texture and graphics enhancing mods so what's the problem???????? I've never heard of a video card restarting a system.

  • I have tried validating, reinstalling, and even going back to the previous nvidia drivers.

Event viewer should clue you in. I did find NVNetworkService and NvStreamSvc under the information tab. There is nothing in the game that can force the PC to restart. The only other recent released games I play are The Walking Dead, Max Payne 3, Borderlands 2,and Darkstalkers 2.

Any computer can overheat if it's cpu fan is cloged by dust, if it's cpu heatsink is not hooked correctly, if the air flow inside the case if really bad or Does it blue-screen or does it just reboot immediately? the only other thing i can think off is Windows security update?? This seems very much like a power supply malfunction. This would drop the load and the PSU would come straight back on again - letting the PC boot back up.
