Internet Explorer Opening Sites On Its Own

I'm not sure what could be causing this and it's extremely annoying. What’s interesting after closing it with Task Manager after a few seconds IE will reopen on its own and continue where it left off.

As for reinstalling IE, it does not appear as its own component. However unlike windows 7 I'm unable to uninstall IE11 on Win8. I will try to use IE and AOL more to see if the issue is gone (maybe it was some malware I catched after April 11 that is new and they I am going to call AOL to see if their techs know something about this issue.
