Svchost.exe Process Problem


It's really nice! Following the advice has rejuvenated my 8+ year old vista pc. It's the underlying software, service, or even hardware that is causing that instance of SVCHOST to run so much.Do a google search for Process Explorer. Is it something I can disable? useful source

You'll notice that there are currently eight svchost processes running on my computer, all using up various amounts of memory and running under different user names.

If the Windows Update service is causing this issue on your computer, disabling it will do the trick. read the full info here at moments when the user doesn't run any programs.
