How to solve 100 % Svchost.exe (netsvcs) High Memory or CPU usage problems.

It solved my problem - the Windows Update service was using svchost and driving CPU and memory usage to the sky. I restart it, some other one goes to 25% CPU usage. All this has stopped for me and i have a Windows XP service pack 1 purchased in Feb 2012.
