I RUN msconfig and uncheck alot of processes and this seems to help, but not all are listed, so thanks Mark for P.E. Looking this up, I found many sites saying never to uninstall Roxio software, as it uninstalls some components which are written by Roxio, but part of the Microsoft OS and used QNX (a real-time O.S.) was completely different from the various Unixes I used for this very reason. I thought i could solve the problem by eliminating hp printer from startup programs with no success. Removed the virus and searched for weeks for a solution to the SvcHost problem. I am still searching for a solution or fix.

Maybe the ancient round robin technique of so many ticks per process wasn't such a bad thing after all.
