Is there anywhere to get a list of the "common" windows processes that shouldn't be shut off; ie core windows services? a fantastic read

Keep up the good work. Very informative & helpful! Earlier today before I restarted, svchost.exe was at over 900,000 KB mem usage. All I did was disable the Windows Automatic Updates and that seemed to fix the problem.
