Maxtor Hard Drive Issue

Anonymous December 15, 2011 at 6:50 pm well try on different version of windows, if other computers can get hold of your external hard drive then something is wrong with it my usb port is the problem here, a pen drive with more than 5mb file size is hard to transfer to or from my pc (the drive just hang)... I'd thought about the Restore angle.

After some period of time magnetic media the platters are covered with starts to degrade and bad sectors appear.Whenever the drive hits such unreadable bad sector it could start freezing, scratching, I have used this in the past and it worked for me. If it doesn't, praise whatever lord you feel like praising that you got ANY of your data off and run this on it and slam dunk it into the garbage can. by R.
