And it is just a thought. Welcome to the Ars OpenForum. I doubt that really means much, since yours is Intel and mine is AMD, and any power is coming from the PSU, so I don't see how it could be a Possibly the hard drive??

I finally found a fix, and thought I would share it. I use my docking station & USB enclosure primarily for backups, but also use it for some of the other reasons stated above.
