It works pretty well too and choosing an OS is as simple as booting your computer and selecting which version of Windows to launch via a boot selection menu. Thus, when you boot into XP, your drive layout should look like the list above. You should be able to see the space you reclaimed on the disk earlier which has become "unallocated space". It's just a standard text file and you can change pretty much anything.

It's named after Boot Configuration Data (BCD), the new configuration file utilized by Vista. In the "Add an Entry" section change the Drive in the dropdown menu from C: to E:.
