how to install php calssified in my hosting space?

Hi experts,
im new to webhosting. i purchased space at techhosting.com
now i need to install a classified script on it.not from the Cpanel.is thre any good teaching /help web for biginers?
Just ftp it to your root directory. Use either the ftp facility in the program you used to write it (if it has one) or use something like Filezilla ( http://filezilla-project.org/download.php ).
