If the hard drive doesn't appear in the list at all, it's possible your hard drive has failed and can no longer be booted from. It starts but on the login page it sticks. I had to change BIOS to boot from CD. Upon reboot it starts using the files it copied over to HD.

Do not go into the Repair Utility!!! buy it used.. If you go into the Startup Repair again, let it do its think, it will say it cant find anything and then select Advanced Options and then select system restore.
