If i find that its some program thats causing the problem, I would then, just uninstall that program, correct? I am using Windowps 8.1 and it automatically reboots so I don't know how to disable anti-virus and restore the last working session all in the one cycle. on both the restore program and the windows xp disc i let it sit for atleast a 1/2 hour and i tried them both more then once. Bad hair day?
