Black Screen Of DEATH / Laptop Froze During BIOS Update


Have tried numerous times to restart as use safe mode (safe mode works), and have unplugged the USB Internet and all other USB and the power source but my computer will When I hold the Win and B key and press power it's acting like it's trying to pull info off the USB flash but it never works. Black Screen After Windows 10 Update

My laptop started having problems right before it was even 1 year old! I have checked the device manager and nothing seems broken. Hoping that all application that is still loaded in the memory will dissipate and then I can reboot again. I left it on like that for hours and hours hoping it would just finish the BIOS update.

The HP recovery, I can't get into, since 1) I can't get to Windows at all (black screen), 2) f11 does not work. So the next month, when the 1 yr warranty with HP did expire … I wasn't too worried about it, and besides … I had new issues.
