Geocities is too old. What’s the best website host out there for designing a website for a business, program, politics, etc? Subscriptions don’t matter to me, as I could afford reasonable monthly payments.

Best Hosts by our opinion:

It depends on what features you need. For example, your site’s features might require a Linux server over a Windows server, you might need certain Plug-n-Play support, PHP, etc.

Once you’ve figured these things out you’ll be better able to define which hosting company best serves your needs.

Now, if you’re asking about customer service, uptime, available features, bandwidth, server space, etc. well, I’ve already done a lot of research for you here: http://www.webguides4u.com. I also have a number of articles on that site that can help you in your decision-making process. The more educated you are, the more likely you are to be successful in your hosting selection.

    and again :)

I suggest you have a look at http://www.hosting24.com they will register a domain name for free for life and come with unlimited webspace and unlimited data transfer and you can go with them on a monthly or yearly basis with a money back guarantee

Also when you sign up with them if you enter in a discount code they will give you 25% off their ridiculously cheap hosting plans. code to use is 25OFF

I host all my sites there and have been more than pleased with their help and support, I hope this helps

I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/

Powweb is on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.

Godaddy doesn’t offer a free domain, but you can get one for $2.19 if you’re buying hosting from them, plus you can also get the 20% discount from them.

I made my personal family website from Deumnet.com and I personally recommend Deumnet. They are really professional in designing field, but they charge you very less.

Here are some of the features of Deumnet.com which I copied from their website :

    <50GB Memory Storage
    <100 Web Pages
    <1 Custom Email Address (info@yoursite.com)
    <1 Custom Domain Name (www.yoursite.com)

All these features are for only 29 dollars!

    You have to try Deumnet!
